Susan A. Fitzpatrick, Esq. focuses her practice in guardianships, elder law, estate and trust planning, estate administration, residential and commercial real estate, business planning and corporate matters. She has been a member of the Burke & Casserly, P.C. team since April, 2007. Prior to becoming a member of our team, Susan was an associate attorney with a Nassau County estate planning law firm from September 2002 through April 2007.
She is currently a member of the New York State Bar Association, the Saratoga County Bar Association and the Rensselaer County Bar Association. Susan has published several articles for the Saratoga County Bar Associations monthly publication, Law Notes, including “10 Points to Revisit Before Year End”, Advance Directives” and “How to Safeguard you Power of Attorney from your Agent”.
Susan is a member of the Albany-Colonie Chamber of Commerce and the Colonie Chamber of Commerce and routinely attends their local events. Annually Susan participates as speaker at the Albany Law School Senior Citizens’ Law Day and the Alzheimer’s Memory Walk. She helped coordinate the Caregivers Resource Fair held in September 2008 and 2009 held at The Avila in Guilderland.
She currently volunteers her time in connection with The Legal Project, providing initial legal advice to the community members of Saratoga.
Susan earned her Juris Doctorate as a graduate of St. John’s University School of Law in 2002. Her undergraduate degree was earned from Queens College. She currently resides in Malta, NY.
