We are in search of an attorney to join our team who is a member in good standing with the New York State Bar. An ideal candidate will have 3 or more years of experience in the planning field, including a strong knowledge of Medicaid laws, applications and processes; trust and estate administration/ probate processes; guardianship proceedings; and is skilled in the drafting of Wills and Trusts.
Our firm is also in search of a Medicaid and/or Estate Administration Paralegal to join our team who has 3 or more years of experience, which should include a strong knowledge of Medicaid applications and the process of applying for Medicaid benefits, including the gathering of required documentation and the forensic analysis of all financial documents; and, an understanding of the process involved in trust and estate administration/probate.
In addition to a strong technical background in our areas of practice, an ideal attorney or paralegal candidate should be highly organized, have excellent written and oral communication skills, be dependable, demonstrate a commitment to the development and maintenance of outstanding client relationships, demonstrate compassion amongst our team as well as with our clients, and conduct oneself with integrity and exceptional interpersonal skills.
