James Barnes, Esq. Named President of Board of Directors for Visiting Nurse Service Foundation

James R. Barnes, Esq., was elected President of the Board of Directors for the Foundation of the Visiting Nurse Service of Northeastern New York.  

The Visiting Nurse Service of Northeastern New York, (VNS), is a full service Medicare/Medicaid certified home health agency covering the counties of Albany, Saratoga, Schenectady, Essex, Franklin, Schoharie and Warren. The VNS Foundation is a non-profit organization whose principle mission is to support and enhance the VNS in its provision of health care, in cooperation with its community partners, to individuals and families in need.  The Foundation is dedicated to raising funds which are used to help the VNS provide innovative care, with a focus on access to care by at-risk members of the community, including the uninsured, under-insured, financially needy, mothers and newborns, caregivers, chronically and terminally ill.
