Megan E. Coleman, Esq., with a desire to return to her passion of estate planning and elder law, Megan joined Burke & Casserly, P.C. in October, 2014 after being employed as a staff attorney for Boies, Schiller & Flexner, LLP for five years.
Megan received her Juris Doctorate from Albany Law School in 2008. While at Albany Law, Megan competed in the Senior Prize Trials, Moot Court Competition and completed mediation and negotiation training. It was during her time at Albany Law that Megan got her first experience with elder law by clerking for a local Trust and & Estates firm. It was there that Megan developed her passion for estate planning. Prior to attending Albany Law, Megan attended Castleton State College in Vermont, graduating cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in Forensic Psychology and a minor in Criminal Justice.
In addition to her practice of law, Megan is happily married and lives in Albany with her husband, John and their furkids, Riley & Greyson.
